Parish History
St. John Bosco officially became a parish on March 8, 1959. A letter from the Diocese of Saskatoon to the faithful at St. Mary's Church and St. John School announced the formation of the new St. John Bosco parish church.
Shortly thereafter, the catholic Women's League and the Men's Club were organized to support the development of the parish.
The following year, in co-operation with the Catholic School Board, the new school auditorium was erected and became the parish centre.
By 1963, the church and the rectory were planned and completed. And on May 12, 1964, the church was blessed by Bishop Klein.
